Winchester Cathedral Lecture

Please join us for a Dorothy Ford Wiley lecture given by Martin Biddle, accomplished scholar and archaeologist and director of the dig at Winchester Cathedral.

In the early 1960s, UNC-Chapel Hill faculty, graduates, and undergraduates participated in archeological excavations at Winchester, recovering medieval sites and artifacts around the city and its celebrated cathedral. Please join us for a lecture by Dr. Martin Biddle, leader of the historic dig, who will take us back to this fascinating intersection between England, the Middle Ages, and the University of North Carolina.
