Research And Teaching Interests

Edward Donald Kennedy’s books include Chronicles and Other Historical Writingas volume 8 of A Manual of the Writings in Middle English (Connecticut Academy of Arts and Sciences, 1989); edited King Arthur: A Casebook(Garland, 1996; reprint Routledge, 2002), with an introductory essay on the character of King Arthur in medieval and modern literature and a select bibliography; and co-edited two more collections of essays, Medieval English Studies presented to George Kane (D.S. Brewer, 1988), and Broken Lines: Genealogical Literature in Medieval Britain and France (Brepols, 2008). He has published over 100 articles and reviews, primarily on medieval romance and chronicles.
